Andre Daley has a rich and varied experience and work history. He brings the perspective of an immigrant who moved from Jamaica to the United States at the age of 15 he went to high school in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn crossing social and racial boundaries on a forty-five minute bus ride from his home in Crown Heights.
After completing a year of high school, he attended The City College of New York in Harlem where he graduated with a B.A. in developmental psychology. Andre continued with graduate study at New Brunswick and then Princeton seminaries, graduating from Princeton with a Master’s of Divinity with a focus on learning and cognitive development. After graduating from Princeton Seminary, Andre held several leadership positions in the faith community in New Jersey and Michigan working in diverse multiracial settings
Andre completed several trainings and certifications including ISO 30415 Diversity Professional, Cultural Intelligence Facilitator, Inclusive Leadership Behavior, Empower Success Coaching Leading Culture Change, Community Mediation.
In 2003 he received the community Calvin College Service Learning Partnership Award for his work students doing service learning in the Eastown community of Grand Rapids. In 2009 Andre founded the nonprofit Grand Rapids Dream which provides academic support and enrichment as well as mentoring with at-risk youth. He has also served on the board of the Eastown Business Association. In 2012 Daley was featured in the July City Guide edition of Grand Rapids Magazine.
Andre has written several articles and curricula on multiracial approaches to community and organizational development. He is founder, principal and lead trainer/consultant at the Reimagine Development and Implementation Project.
Andre has done presentations or trainings for the following companies or groups.
